Zero Run Zhu Jiangming: Four Series ABCD in the Next Three Years, Filling the 60,000-300,000 Yuan Market with Thirteen to Fourteen Models
Zero Run Automobile recently celebrated its 9th anniversary in car manufacturing. According to a report by Wan Dian Auto, Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Zero Run Automobile, revealed in an interview that Zero Run will have four series, A, B, C, and D, and will fill the 60,000-300,000 yuan market with thirteen to fourteen models over the next three years.
Zhu Jiangming stated that Zero Run aspires to be the 'Uniqlo of the automotive industry,' with the D series being ultra-luxurious in product but not in price. The 200,000-300,000 yuan range is a large automotive consumer market and also the pricing range for the D series.
Zhu Jiangming also disclosed that all 2025 models of Zero Run's C series will be converted to electric door handles. Additionally, in 2025, Zero Run will be the first to adopt the Qualcomm 8650 chip, with more than half of the models featuring it.
Regarding future product planning, Zhu Jiangming indicated that over the next three years, there will be four series, A, B, C, and D, filling the 60,000-300,000 yuan market with thirteen to fourteen models.
Zhu Jiangming also mentioned that in 2010, he had considered starting a business making mobile phones but ultimately did not, mainly due to concerns about the large leap across fields (Note: Zhu Jiangming is one of the main founders of the surveillance product giant Dahua Shares and had served as the director and general manager of business operations at Motorola), and it was only after Xiaomi's success that he realized he had missed out.
Zhu Jiangming released a letter to all employees on December 24th, stating that the next three years are crucial, and Zero Run Automobile has entered the final round. The competitors are no longer just 'new forces' but truly world-class mainstream brands.
Zhu Jiangming also stated that next year, Zero Run's brand-new LEAP 3.5 architecture will be released, and the new B series based on the LEAP 3.5 architecture is expected to achieve greater commercial success than the C series.
