XPeng Delivers 10,000th Vehicle in Europe, Leading China's New Force in EV Manufacturing
XPeng Motors (XPENG) announced on LinkedIn that the company has surpassed 10,000 vehicle deliveries in the European market, becoming the first Chinese electric vehicle startup to achieve this milestone.
XPeng Motors founder and CEO He Xiaopeng personally called the 10,000th European owner, delivered the vehicle remotely via video, and offered 10,000 kilometers of free charging.
The 10,000th electric vehicle sold by XPeng Motors in Europe is the G6 SUV, equipped with 800V high-voltage charging technology, allowing for a 300-kilometer range after just 10 minutes of charging. This achievement comes only 3 years after its first export to Europe, highlighting its rapid expansion.
XPeng Motors, after adopting a third-party distribution model, has accelerated its expansion, entering new European markets such as France, Spain, and Portugal this year. The company signed an agreement last month to enter the UK market, planning to launch the entry-level SUV G6, with sales expected to begin early next year.
XPeng Motors established its European headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in February 2021, and has since set up offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Sweden to support its regional operations.
Globally, XPeng Motors delivered 30,895 vehicles in November, with monthly sales surpassing 30,000 units for the first time.
