Toyota Motor Corporation recently announced that it will display a 'Darkside' special performance version at next year's Tokyo Auto Show. The official statement did not provide many specific details about the model, only stating: 'The 'Darkside Performance Version' on display this time is a futuristic concept car that shows a new face of RAV4, completely different from the traditional outdoor image. It brings the future of mobility from sci-fi movies, anime, and games into the real world.'

Its appearance is quite futuristic, with a large air intake at the front, large wheel arches, and angular lower bumper. The car also has a unique light strip design and a closed grille, but it is not yet clear whether this car will be mass-produced.

In addition to the 'Darkside Performance Version,' Toyota has also launched a new 'Outdoor Lifestyle Kit' for the RAV4. The teaser image shows that the new car will have a unique graphic design on the front, equipped with wheel arches, roof racks, and possibly even all-terrain tires.

Note: The Tokyo Auto Show in 2025 will start on January 10th and end on the 12th.
