Spy Photos of Denza Sports Car Exposed, Expected to Appear at Shanghai Auto Show

According to a blogger's revelation, spy photos of the Denza sports car have been leaked online. Originally the production version of the Formula Leopard Super 9, it has now been rebranded under Denza, with a price that is expected to rise. The car will first release a hardtop version followed by a convertible version. It is anticipated to make its appearance at the Shanghai Auto Show. The new car features a four-seat layout and performance comparable to the Porsche 911, but the price is likely to exceed 300,000 yuan.

From the spy photos, the test car adopts Denza's usual camouflage stickers, making the car quite compact, occupying only a small part of the flatbed truck. It features a two-door design, a low-slung body, streamlined dynamics, large-sized wheels, and performance tires. The headlights are also streamlined in design, and the doors are expected to be frameless, facilitating the retraction of the roof.

The Leopard 9 was released in April of this year, featuring a unique Speedster design, which is a product with an open-top. However, this new model has completely overturned the previous design, and we look forward to the actual car bringing us more surprises.

DENZA

Shenzhen BYD New Energy Co., Ltd., trading as Denza, is an automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Shenzhen, China, specialising in luxury electric cars and a joint venture between BYD Auto Industry and the Mercedes-Benz Group (previously Daimler AG). Founded in May 2010, in late 2014 the company introduced its first model, the Denza EV. The car was initially put on sale in selected Chinese cities only. In late 2021, Denza underwent a restructuring as Mercedes-Benz reduced its share to 10%, while BYD held the rest.
