On August 30, 2024, the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show officially opened. During this auto show, BYD's most significant model is undoubtedly the new flagship MPV model - 'Xia'. The company stated that the car's color palette is inspired by traditional porcelain and Chinese artistic conception, offering four colors for consumers to choose from: Distant Mountain Green, Jian Kiln Purple, Nourishing Jade White, and Mysterious Sky Black. In terms of appearance, the design of 'Xia' draws inspiration from China's excellent traditional culture, integrating the essence of landscape into the Dragon Face aesthetics, featuring simple and grand body lines. In detail, the car adopts the 'Dragon Face' design style of the Dynasty family, with 'dragon whiskers' trim paired with a large front grille, and the grille is adorned with dragon scale armor elements, enhancing the sense of hierarchy and the overall quality of the vehicle.

From the side, the car features a relatively flat roof design, which can provide ample headroom for passengers, offering a more comfortable riding experience. At the rear, the car uses a through-type light group design, and a small spoiler is equipped on the top of the trunk.
