Geely Galaxy New Plug-in Hybrid Sedan Spy Photos Exposed, Resembling Galaxy E8
On January 18th, a set of road test spy photos of Geely Galaxy's new plug-in hybrid sedan were released by the 'Spy Reporter' section of Auto Home. The media suggests that the new car may belong to the Starship series, forming a 'multi-car strategy' with models like the Starship 7 EM-i.

Despite the heavy camouflage, it is still evident that the new car has a low and elongated posture, with a laser radar on the roof and Geely Galaxy's square logo visible in the center of the steering wheel. From the side view of the car, the curve contour from the front to the roof is almost identical to its own medium and large pure electric sedan Galaxy E8, so it is possible that the new car will be a 'Galaxy E8 hybrid version'.

The new car is expected to be powered by the Galaxy EM-i super hybrid system. Taking the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i as an example, its engine has a maximum power of 82kW, a thermal efficiency of 46.5%, an electric motor power of 160kW, a pure electric range of 55 or 120km, and the official claims a combined range of 1420km.
According to previous reports, the Geely Galaxy E8 will also be refreshed this year. Geely Holding's Senior Vice President Yang Xueliang revealed at the end of last year that the new Galaxy E8 is planned to be released in the first half of next year, with the specific time subject to official release.
