Sounding the Counter-Offensive for Joint Venture Automakers, SAIC General Motors Announces New Pure Electric, Plug-in Hybrid, and Range-Extended Products and Technologies for Next Year

SAIC General Motors today announced that it has signed agreements with investors from mainstream national automobile dealer groups to establish 54 new authorized dealerships in 40 cities across the country.

SAIC General Motors stated that it will continue to accelerate its transformation and will launch "new competitive products and innovative technologies" next year, covering mainstream categories such as pure electric, plug-in hybrid, range-extended, and L2++ intelligent driving, sounding the counter-offensive for joint venture automakers.

It was reported that SAIC General Motors' terminal sales in November 2024 reached 66,797 units (including exports), setting a new high for the year, with a month-on-month increase of 14.7%, marking five consecutive months of growth. From January to November, SAIC General Motors' cumulative terminal sales amounted to 600,000 units (including exports).

Among them, SAIC General Motors' terminal sales of new energy vehicles in November were 10,010 units, a month-on-month increase of 5.9%. From January to November, the total new energy sales reached 97,056 units, a year-on-year increase of 77.4%.
