Toyota's 13th Generation Corolla Sedan Leaked, to Introduce Plug-in Hybrid System for the First Time

On January 4th, automotive media carscoops published a post reporting that Toyota will introduce a plug-in hybrid system (PHEV) in the 13th generation Corolla for the first time.

The current 12th generation Corolla, which has been on the market since 2018 and received a minor facelift in 2022, is expected to be succeeded by the 13th generation in 2026. The new model is anticipated to have a more modern design and a more diversified powertrain selection, along with improved performance.

According to sources, the new Corolla will draw design elements from models like the Crown Sport, featuring a hammerhead front, slim headlights, a thinner grille, and sporty bumper intakes.
