Due to declining sales in China and North America, Nissan announced this month that in addition to global layoffs, it will reduce manufacturing capacity by 20% and lower its annual profit expectations by 70%.

Nissan's series of measures indicate that the automotive industry is facing a severe market environment, and companies must take decisive actions to maintain operations.
