First with EA888 Fifth Generation Engine, SAIC Volkswagen's New Teramont Pro SUV Model to Launch in March Next Year
According to a report from Dongchedi, SAIC Volkswagen's new Teramont Pro SUV model is scheduled to hit the market in March 2025, marking an annual refresh for the vehicle which will be powered by Volkswagen's EA888 fifth-generation engine.
It has been noted that SAIC Volkswagen's Teramont Pro completed its filing with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in September this year. The new model retains the side contour of the current Teramont, with a closed front design that integrates the headlights and the black trim of the grille into a cohesive unit, featuring a design similar to a through-type light group.
The new vehicle measures 5158 x 1991 x 1788 millimeters in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2980 millimeters, featuring a monocoque body. The powertrain utilizes an engine from SAIC Volkswagen with a displacement of 1984ml and a maximum power output of 200kW.
