Fangchengbao Bao 8 to Launch on November 12th with DMO Platform and Huawei ADS 3.0
Recently, we learned from official sources that the Fangchengbao Bao 8 will officially launch on November 12th. The new vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, equipped with the DMO plug-in hybrid off-road platform, Yunnian-P active hydraulic body control system, and Huawei ADS 3.0.
Exterior-wise, the Bao 8 adopts a "future starship aesthetics," with a tall and mighty front that is very square, full of a tough vibe. The front of the car is equipped with a through-type LED daytime running light, and the C-shaped design on both sides is well integrated with the grille. The central part of the engine cover is further enhanced by a clear concave line, enhancing the power of the front. In addition, the new car is equipped with a laser radar on the roof.
Looking at the side of the car, the new car has a straight and tough line design, looking very muscular. In terms of the rear, the Bao 8 is equipped with a surround spare tire cover, inspired by the planet ring, with rectangular tail lights on both sides and a silver rear bumper, reflecting a tough off-road style. In terms of size, the Fangchengbao Bao 8 has a length, width, and height of 5195/1994/1875 (1905 including roof luggage rack) mm, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm.
Inside, the new car continues the Fangchengbao family design language, equipped with a full LCD instrument, central control screen, and co-driver screen, supporting linkage functions. The car machine is equipped with the DiLink 150 system and is equipped with the BYD 9000 chip, equipped with an AI large model. The car still retains some physical buttons for easy operation of common functions. The new car adopts a three-row seat design, with 6 and 7 seats available, and the 6-seat version has an independent seat design for the second row.
Power-wise, the DMO platform used by the Fangchengbao Bao 8 is a plug-in hybrid platform, supporting intelligent three differential locks, low-speed four-wheel drive, and a 900mm water depth. The new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine, working with a front 200kW and rear 300kW drive motor, with a combined output power of 550kW and a system torque of 760N·m. With the intelligent electric four-wheel drive system, the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 4.8 seconds.
The new car is equipped with the Yunnian-P system, which can adjust the hardness and height of the chassis, with a suspension stroke adjustable range of 140mm. Relying on binocular camera and laser radar technology, the new car can perceive the road conditions in advance and complete the self-adaptive adjustment of the damping in an instant. In terms of smart driving, the new car will be equipped with Huawei's Qian Kun ADS 3.0 system, which can achieve smart driving navigation assistance from "parking space to parking space" in all scenarios, as well as functions such as parking, valet parking, and remote car moving.
