BYD Xia MPV Launch Event Officially Announced for January 8th at the Water Cube
BYD officially announced today that the Xia MPV launch event will be held on January 8th at 19:30 at the Beijing National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), along with the release of a new teaser video.
According to previous reports, the BYD Xia was first revealed at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, positioned as a mid-to-large MPV with a hidden sliding rail for the electric sliding door. The vehicle's dimensions are 5145/1970/1805mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3045mm.
The new vehicle features a Yunyan-C intelligent damping body control system and is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM technology, consisting of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, with the engine's maximum power output at 115kW and the motor's at 200kW.
The new car has a 2+2+3 three-row seven-seat layout, with a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, a 12.3-inch co-driver entertainment screen, and a 15.6-inch central overhead screen in the front row, equipped with wireless phone charging, dual cup holders, and storage compartments under the island console.
