TuSimple Announces Rebrand to CreateAI: From Autonomous Driving to AI Track, Creating Content for 'Jin Yong's Martial Arts World' and 'The Three-Body Problem' IPs

On December 19th, autonomous driving company TuSimple announced the launch of a new brand, CreateAI, and unveiled several advancements in the field of generative AI.

CreateAI has announced that it has obtained the official authorization for the famous martial arts IP 'Jin Yong's Martial Arts World' and will develop a large-scale open-world martial arts RPG game.

In terms of 'The Three-Body Problem' IP, CreateAI will collaborate with animation director Masayoshi Kusakabe ('Macross', etc.) and animation production company Shirogumi, using AIGC technology to help creators achieve more breakthroughs in depicting grand cosmic civilizations.

At the same time, CreateAI also released its first large-scale model product 'Ruyi', which is positioned in the field of open-source video generation. As the core of its self-developed AI infrastructure, the company will create multiple AI generative tools for game and animation production based on 'Ruyi'.

Apart from business progress, CreateAI also released its latest business plan today, showing investors the content of corporate transformation.

According to a report by IT Home in August this year, TuSimple reached a cooperation with Shanghai Three-Body Animation Co., Ltd. to jointly develop the first animated feature film and video game based on the internationally renowned science fiction novel series 'The Three-Body Problem' by Liu Cixin.

The president and CEO of TuSimple, Lv Cheng, once stated that the company has no plans to exit the transportation industry and will continue to promote the commercialization of autonomous driving technology through technical cooperation and authorization.
