Tesla's Tao Lin: In Cold Regions, Electric Vehicles Can Fully Replace Fuel Cars
Tesla's Vice President Tao Lin stated today, "In cold regions, electric vehicles can still fully replace fuel cars. In Norway, Tesla has surpassed fuel cars for four consecutive years, becoming the top-selling brand in the passenger car market."
Tao Lin also shared a tweet from Tesla's North American Supercharger Director Max de Zegher, who said that 96.4% of new car sales in Norway are electric vehicles.
According to previous reports, data released by the Norwegian Road Federation shows that the number of new electric vehicle registrations in November this year was 10,940, which is almost the same as the 10,862 in October, and a significant increase compared to 8,442 in the same period last year.
On the model list, Tesla's Model Y is at the top. In the first 11 months of this year, Model Y has 14,926 new registrations in Norway, accounting for 13% of the total new car registrations. Volvo's EX30 is second with 6,623, followed by ID.4 (6,544) and Model 3 (6,197).
