Tesla in Preliminary Talks with Texas for Robotaxi Autonomous Taxi Service

According to a recent Bloomberg report, Tesla has initiated preliminary discussions with authorities in Austin, Texas, although specific fleet details and planned routes are yet to be confirmed.
For comparison, companies like Waymo are already operating autonomous taxi services in the U.S., but these are limited to geofenced areas (serving specific urban regions), and Tesla's Robotaxi may adopt a similar operational setup.
