New Geely Galaxy E8 Scheduled for Release Next Year, Current Model Starts at 165,800 Yuan
Geely Holding Group's Senior Vice President @YangXueLiangVictor revealed that the new Geely Galaxy E8 is planned to be released in the first half of next year, with the specific time subject to official announcement.
It was noticed that the Geely Galaxy E8 newly declared a model at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in June this year. The new car maintains the overall appearance, with the front headlights presenting an upward momentum, equipped with a rhythmic grille named 'Ripple of Light', and the rear adopts a through-type taillight design. In addition, the car can be optionally equipped with front fender cameras, roof lidar, and a half steering wheel.
Different from the current model, the newly declared model is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 250 kW. The current Galaxy E8 offers three different power compositions: 400V+200kW single motor, 800V+200kW single motor, and 800V+475kW dual motor, with corresponding driving ranges of 550km, 665km, and 620km.
For reference, the current 550km two-wheel drive Longteng version of the Galaxy E8 is priced at 165,800 yuan.
