"Little Land Rover" is Here! New Tiggo 7 PLUS and Tiggo 7 High Energy Edition to Launch on November 1st
The new Chery Tiggo 7 PLUS and Tiggo 7 High Energy Edition are set to launch on November 1st. Both models are refreshed versions of the previous models and are considered facelifts.
New Tiggo 7 PLUS
Exterior: The new Tiggo 7 PLUS features an upgraded exterior design with a large-sized mesh grille in a dot-matrix pattern. The front headlights with lenses are connected through the grille, and the air intakes on both sides exhibit a dynamic surface. On the side of the vehicle, the third-row window style has also been optimized.
Rear: The new model features a brand-new full-width taillight, providing a stronger sense of unity. The rear skirt has removed the dual exhaust decorations and added more sporty decorations on both sides.
Interior: The new Tiggo 7 PLUS continues the current model's design, featuring a dual-screen layout with a crystal gear lever in the center.
Power: The new vehicle is expected to continue the current model's powertrain, including 1.5TCI, 1.5TGDI, and 1.6TGDI engines with maximum power outputs of 115 kW, 135 kW, and 145 kW, respectively.
Tiggo 7 High Energy Edition
Exterior: The Tiggo 7 High Energy Edition's appearance is very similar to the "Little Land Rover," with a grille design similar to Land Rover's, featuring the Chery logo and unique N badge. The vehicle uses a split headlight assembly with the lower part housing the main headlight cluster.
Rear: The rear features a decorative panel with the Chery logo connecting to the taillights, which also adopt a checkered flag pattern. The rear has a design similar to Land Rover, with sporty decorations on both sides.
Interior: The interior retains the design of the Explore 06, with a simple layout featuring a continuous air vent, a floating liquid crystal instrument panel, and a central control screen. However, the transmission gear surround has been redesigned, with a new layout of buttons.
Power: According to the declaration information, the new vehicle will have both plug-in hybrid and fuel versions. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, with the 1.5T engine having a maximum power output of 115kW. The energy storage battery will use a lithium iron phosphate battery, with a declared fuel consumption value of 1.27L/100km. The fuel version is equipped with a 1.6T engine, with a maximum power output of 145kW.
