Karma's New Crossover Spotted, Expected to be the Ivara Concept's Production Version
On December 27, automotive media theautopian published a blog post sharing a spy photo of a Karma Automotive crossover taken outside the Karma factory in Irvine, California. Although a bit blurry, the photo is sufficient to discern the general outline of the vehicle.
The vehicle is a four-door crossover with a hatchback/sportback design, featuring smooth body lines. The right front fender appears to be covered with camouflage, and the passenger door seems to be in a half-open or misaligned state.
The hood has noticeable contours, with narrow headlamps/daytime running lights/turn signal clusters. The taillights feature a through-design, thickened on both sides to form side示 wide lights. The rear wheel arches are prominently raised, and the wheel size is large, fitting the crossover vehicle positioning.
Upon public record search, Karma was granted a crossover design patent in 2021. The front of the car features prominent air intakes and slender headlights, with an overall dynamic styling, a long streamlined hood, and a rake-shaped windshield.
Karma had previously showcased the Ivara crossover concept car. The spy photo model is similar to Ivara in overall style but has a more gentle roof line and appears to be smaller in size, possibly the production version of Ivara.
