Chery iCAR V23 Faces Criticism for Downgrading, iCAR General Manager Responds 'Function and Configuration Competition is Useless'

On December 23, news from IT Home reported that Chery's brand iCAR released the new iCAR V23 on December 16, but it faced criticism from netizens regarding pricing and optional strategy.

Recently, in a live broadcast, iCAR General Manager Zhang Hongyu responded to user queries. He stated that iCAR V23 was criticized for downgrading, with users questioning why 360-degree features and assistive driving were included in the smart package. 'iCAR is designed for young people, with the original intention of bringing an ultimate experience to the youth. Ask around, out of ten people, is there even one who uses assistive driving? This is internal competition, competing in functions and configurations, which is actually useless. Many features and configurations in cars are never used once you have the vehicle.'
