NIO: 2,900 Battery Swap Stations Built, Over 60 Million Battery Swaps Completed

NIO announced today on Weibo that they have built 2,900 battery swap stations, with users having swapped batteries over 60 million times.

On December 18, NIO also announced that with the completion of the G25 Changshen Expressway's Jinyu segment, NIO has officially completed the layout of a 9 vertical and 9 horizontal high-speed battery swap network, which means the construction of a high-speed battery swap network between major cities nationwide has been completed, passing through 12 major urban agglomerations such as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Greater Bay Area, and the Chengdu-Chongqing area.

At the NIO Day 2024 event held on December 21, NIO founder Li Bin announced that NIO will achieve county-wide charging access in all provincial administrative regions by June 30, 2025, and county-wide battery swap access in 27 provincial administrative regions by December 31, 2025.
